They can do anything they want. I receive Violation Notices every time the church people decide to disagree with my questions. I once received a Violation Notice that was blank. The violation went on my record, and who knows what all the ramifications are, and yet I it contains nothing!
There are times when I get Best Answer and think I've won ten points, come to find out the question has been deleted (and of course the asker was charged with a Violatrion), most likely cause the church people didn't like it and reported it.
I find that in my case 99% of these problems come from the weird medieval attitudes of church people.
They may even delete this answer and file yet another Violation charge against me.
Yahoo, bless their hearts, are really afraid of offending the church people.

They deleted one of mine after a week. Maybe you asked it a while ago. Maybe they were just messing with you.

Beats me. I asked the question: Who on here is from New Hampshire? And they removed it - no explanation. Damn if I know what thier priorities are.
