what's the difference between bachelor's degree, associate degree, graduate degree and high school diploma?

You get your high school diploma when (if) you finish high school, usually at 18.

An associate degree (A.B.) is a two-year study program after high school.

A bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) is what you get after a four-year degree program.

A graduate degree is a master's or doctorate, which you can pursue after you have your bachelor's.
