Isn't that a little arrogant?

But arrogance seems to be a spiritual principle in some religions (you know who you are).

It isn't arrogant if it is true.

Jesus made the way exclusive, not His followers. If you don't like that, take it up with Him.

Just as there was only one way to escape the Flood during Noah's time, there is only one way of escape from condemnation at the Judgment.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) Since He is God, He gets to make the rules.

Is it an arrogant statement to say, "Gravity will make you fall," if that is true? Would you say, "I'm going to walk off this cliff, because I think you were arrogant to say that gravity makes you fall. I don't believe in gravity." ? Just as there are physical laws, there are spiritual ones. And if you decide to test the law, you will have to deal with the consequences.

It is not arrogance, just limited thinking.

Think about cars, and how some people will only buy a Honda, while others want a Cadillac, or a fancy car. Both types of vehicles perform the same function and get you to the same place, so why the difference?

Religion is like that as well, people need different ways to get to spiritual enlightenment. The fact that they may choose one over another, does not mean anything in real terms, it is just their personal perspective.

It is arrogant whether cult members (christians, muslims, jews, etc..) accept it or not. We are talking about believing in comic book fantasies here and closing the mind to any other type of scientific explanation. It is sickening that the most advance species on this planet can still behave in this manner.

There are unlimited ways to "experience" the Divine. Every breath you take is an experience of the divine.

But there is only one way to the Father - that is through His Son Jesus. We believe it because it is true, and we have been given the eyes to see the truth and the faith to believe in it.

My question is "Why will some people try every way to know God but will always reject Jesus?" I think it is fear of surrendering their will to God....and it is scary....but Oh So Worth It!!

If they ever experience a NDE, they will see how pointless religion is. There is just God, or The Light, which is a thing my words cannot explain. It's like being received by love, warmth, joy, wonder, and the essence of everything. How can you label that? Why do they label that? I don't know, but I also don't mock anyone's beleif because if it works for them, then good for them. I know God is real, and there is no one way. If it was, remote islanders in the Pacific would have seen Jesus or Mohammad too.

You can experience God in many ways. You can be saved and go to heaven only through Jesus Christ. Not arrogance but truth!

If you think that way, your intitled to your own opinion. For me its not arrogant, its the way they know how they defend their belief. "Whatever you learned and you think its true" when the times comes you will be question on what you believe in you will insist that what you have hold is true, so you defend it whatever it takes. Pray and read the bible you will find your answer to all you questions.

Reality may or may not seem "arrogant" to any particular person.

But, it doesn't change the fact that reality IS reality.

I believe in the love and mercy of the ONE true God, and salvation thru His Son, Jesus.

"The truth of anything is the truth"...? Yes, obviously.

But until we have PROOF, there is no TRUTH. Only hypothesis and theories. How in the world can ANYONE think that their religion is the correct one, when thousands of others claim to be the one true one? Wouldn't it completely defeat the point of having 'faith' if you were just raised into a certain belief?

It is fact. It is not arrogant to accept the truth. The truth of anything is the truth. Yopu can believe thousands of lies about any one fact or simply believe the truth.
