I was wondering as a male has got xy chromosomes and women has got a xx, whats a hermaphrodite got ?:)

They'll usually have their gender chromosome. If it was supposed to be a boy, it'll have an XY. If it was supposed to be a girl, it'll have XX.

Girls are more common that guys as far as hermaphrodites go (anecdotal), and it's easier to make a guy hermaphrodite into a girl, even if his sexual organs won't work.

Both xy and xx, but in most cases only one sex organ actually is functional. We all have secondary or dormant sex traits that are overridden by the secretion of estrogen or testosterone. These people some how secrete both at an early stage of development. There are even fewer cases of both organs being functional which means that at some late stage of development, one of the hormones takes over as the predominate hormone.
