Obdormivit in Domino.

He fell asleep in the Lord.

Sounds like the martyrdom of St Stephen (Acts 7:59) when the same verb "obdormivit" is rendered "he fell asleep in the Lord" in English.

do you mean 'dormivit in domino' which means 'slept on the master/ lord' btw lord can also refer to God, but not always. or 'obduxit e domino' which means lead away from the lord'. hope that helped.

"He has passed away" or "He has died" (literal translation would be 'He fell slept in the Lord").
