Try Carol's Daughter "lisa's hair elixir" it is very good for dry scalp and itching.
I have had dry scaly scalp for all of my life and I was introduced to this product after a session at an unlicensed salon (almost all of my hair fell out) I started using the product to grow my hair and restore my scalp which was burned and I noticed that I had no scalp itch or dandruff.
When I originally contacted the store (877) 540-2101 I was told that I should use this product and a few others the shampoo etc they were very helpful and it works. The products are all natural and work on all hair types.
The products have been featured in some of the best magazines and on Tyra Banks show.
Good luck hope it works for you too I would give it a try.

Dandruff is just a buildup of dry skin. You need to get in there with your fingers everyday and remove it by rubbing your fingers back and forth. After this use a good scalp oil like hohoba.
Dandruff shampoos leave a residue on your scalp making the dry skin stay there and build up, so when you stop using them you have worse dandruff than before. Hope this works for you!

HI CHaman
Here are the answers you need.
Cause
It is frequently due to digestive disturbances, and is highly related to the general health of the entire body.
The most common cause of dandruff is seborrheic dermatitis, a mild scalp inflammation with excessive fatty secretions that usually starts as dry or greasy scaling of the skin, but may progress to yellow-red scaling bumps along the hairline, behind the ears, in the ear canals, on the eyebrows, on the bridge of the nose, in the folds around the nose, or on the breastbone. Don`t pick or your scratch scalp, as this will only exacerbate your condition.
When infants get dandruff, it is called cradle cap, which is a yeast problem. Many skin experts in Europe consider dandruff in adults to also be a yeast problem. In other words, dandruff is often an external symptom of an internal problem. Therefore, dandruff treatments can be similar to those for treating candidiasis.
