Once upon a time it was my choice, foolish of course, to set a date for His return. Never again! However, we are told that we can know that it is near, even at the door. Here is what I was told by G-d some dozen years ago "the end of all things is at hand". At hand means it is close by. Do not discount that G-d spoke audibly to an individual. Understand this too, that there is a sense which I've come to have recently, that 1)we have turned a corner 2)we are coming down the home stretch and 3)the church needs to take a posture as that of people laying prostrate before the soon coming King. It will be soon, that I know and understand.

According to M.J.Agee, there are. The return of Christ has been predicted to occur at many different times. Some of these times have passed. This neither makes Agee more or less right in his "prohecies".
As near as I can tell, there is no particular date set in scripture for the "End of Times". Accordin to the New Testament, there will be a period of 1,000 years that will be peaceful and under the reign of the returned Christ before the End arrives.

Revelation says that everything that happens in it, that John was "in the Lords Day" or "The Last Days" (Revelation 1:10) - and thus, everything in it is going to happen "Very shortly" since he was standing in the Lords Day, when those prophecies were being fulfilled.
As to an exact date. Jesus said it would be impossible to figure it out:
Remember what Jesus said though regarding the end.
"Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father" - Matthew 24:36
No amount of math can overcome that statement. We simply have to go by the composite sign that he gave in Matthew 24, and fulfillment of the symbolic visions for "the lords day" (Revelation 1:10) in Revelation to tell when we're close, and obey his command to
"Keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
“But know one thing, that if the householder had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have kept awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. On this account you too prove yourselves ready, because at an hour that you do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming." Matthew 24:42-44

Yes. there are sign everywhere, but according to me they are only signs. The Pastor of San Antonia's Cornerstone Church, Pastor the John Hagee Ministries has done extensive bible studies of the subject, and his sermons give specifics signs that you can verify.
On the other hand ASTRONOMY, and some studies of the Solar System show . . studies on how plants function, live and die.. You can see the theories and judge for yourself ( of how the universe was born and how earth's Sun will die).
Study Pastor John Hagee's sermons on End times, there too you will find answers("to avoid All the buy now stuff" on his web site..call 411 and get the direct number or watch TBN. Study the age of the Sun and how planets are born and how they die. You will gain both faith, Spiritual wisdom, world theories and knowledge.
Many documentations are on the History channel or the Science channels give details as well.

No none. The bible predicts wars and famine and such things, these are not predictions they stating obvious. The bible also says the sea will dry up. It is currently raising. So nothing. Although I lot of fundermentalist countries are doing what they can to try and make so called prophecy come true, by waging wars and so on. Pathetic and really disturbing. The Bible seems to incite war.

absolutely not
Since Revelation was written people have been pointing to it and screaming "The end of the world is comming!" Which is utterly ridiculous and the biggest case of "the boy who creid wolf" ever. If I get up every single morning and predict that I am goign to die that day, eventually I am going to be right. But this doesn't make me a prophet, it just makes me obsessed with death when I coulde be out living my life. And if one day we realize that the Earth is about to be destroyed by a meteor or some other huge event these people will think they are right...but they are NOT.

No such thing as 'end times' in all of the Holy Bible.
Only "the time of the end", which is "the end of the law".
For only what began can end.
Grace didn't begin, it's eternal.
Law began, and it's non-eternal: it has an expiry date.
http://www.godshew.org/ShewBread9.htm#Expired
So endure unto the end, to be saved(only) by grace(only).
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

The Bible says that even Jesus doesn't know when he will return. Only God. So to try and pin point a date..a year is wrong. There are signs that Jesus is coming back soon..and it will be soon, even if it is after we are all dead and our great-grandkids are running the world. All I know is I am ready. :)
