On the my computer it comes up as 3 hard drives C/D/E e is for the recovery drive. The D drive which i use most all is starting to get filled up can i shift the size from the c drive to the d drive with this program? On my old vaio i could so was wondering if it was possible with this.

Can someone please explain how i do it please, ta happy new year CB

Just open the program (Partition magic) and you will have the option to resize a partition. Good luck!

Man whatever you do don't use partition magic for anything.I work on computers all the time and every time we use partition magic it ruins the computer and we have reformat the hard drive and start from scratch meaning we lose everything on the hard drive.I'm sure you could do what you ask but use a differant partition software or believe me you will wish you didn't.Oh and don't Norton partition magic either it is the same program with Norton name on it ,To make it sell

You can merge two partitions together and if I remember correctly (its been a long time since I used it) it puts the partition used for data into a folder onto the merged partition so you don't loose information. Use the help feature for merging partitions to check.
