First, it's spelled Ouija Board. Secondly, as a kid.
I personally didn't expect any spectre or ghost to guide the movement. Many view it as a way to access the subconscious mind, which arguably already has the answer to your question. If completely relaxed and able to focus on only the question (and very patient) you will eventually subconsciously start moving it.
For an easier demonstration of subconscious access and/or divination, maybe start with a simpler 'Pendulum' method. Put a washer, ring, some weighted object on the end of a string. Establish clockwise rotation as a Yes, counterclockwise as a No. Ask your question, then be patient and try not to set up expectation of the answer you want.

I would definitely suggest you stay away from these things. It is like being on the internet in a sense, and who ever contacts you (whether real or imagined) may be a malevolent spirit or playing with your head.

It is not wise. God tells us to stay away from things like this. Why would you want to flirt with the Devil? Are you trying to call evil and trouble into your life? Do not be suprised when you do.

i havent tried it but i do know people who have.
about 3 people were playing with one, one being a christian(the christians sister had died recently at the age of twelve) and it said it wouldnt say anythiung because the christian was there. so the askd it why they didnt like the christian. it said because of his sister.
NEVER USE ONE
in my opinion only, i think it didnt like the christian because his sister died and went to heaven.
