I ask this question because I see it all the time whenever i go to the philippines. heck I see american guys in their 50's marrying girls and dating and going out with girls 16, 17, 18 ect. and the girls seem to love it, they simply don't mind at all probably because they think they are going to get a better life out of the deal with sleeping with an older american guy. those girls are poor and in reailty they probaby would have a better life if they gave there young snatch up to an old geezert and like i say many do indeed but what do you guys think of this kind of thing that go's on in asia. I understand to an older guy, having a young trophy wife probably feels great in the sack and out as well but i'm 42, been married twice to the older woman and it just never worked out as 50% of marriages don"t. so i figure i would try the young stuff out cause they have no baggage yet just to see how it would work. asian women are known for being very submissive and obdiant to their husbands.

The reason those guys go there in the first place is because the American women give them such a hard time with all their demands... that they are sick to death of them.
Second... if you take an Asian woman out of poverty... obviously... she will be grateful to you... as her mind has not be corrupted by capitalism. And it is far better to hook up with an old guy than becoming a prostitute.
From the old guy point of view... as he can pick and choose... he might as well go for the young one. And don't kidd yourself... most Asian girls look years younger than their age. A 20 year old usually looks like 15.
You only have one problem when you bring her home. Keep her away from white American women... because they will try to corrupt her and try to convince her to leave you.

oh wow! how naive am I, I thought that kinda of thing only went on in really bad movies!!! *pukes* But no seriously, I know there are lots of older man/ younger woman relationships ...but theres got to be a limit ...I mean 10 maybe 15 years younger is exceptable ..but when u get to the point where half ur life is over and this childs life is just beginning ..that is just gross. Thats almost like saying ..have your own kids and date/marry them. How would you feel if right here in the U.S. some old over the hill prune pusher strikes a relationship with ur 15 y/o daughter? what would be ur reaction?

It's wrong. Ever hear the phrase; pick on someone your own size? A man in his forties is pretty insecure if he has to resort to a child to be his wife. Men lacking in high self esteem love a child bride. The child bride makes them feel like they are really big and important and so intelligent. Well of course they are they have had at least 25 years experience over these girls. However, once these girls grow up, they soon tire of being married to their Dad or the old man.

I don't really think the age of your ex-wives have anything to do with your marriages not working out. Maybe you should first focus on figuring out why they really didn't work. And try to work on those areas of your life. Then try dating someone your own age. As for all those older American men marrying Asian teens.......they just couldn't find an American woman who is willing to be submissive and obedient!!!

those girls are simply looking for a better life as you said. for guys, it's male ego to have a younger wife. but are you marrying for love or looks? love, don't look for it and it will come when it's time. looks, it wont last because looks fade in time. as for young girls not having baggage, GET REAL! look around at how many girls and guys get married at early ages these days. I know so many teenagers with babies because they don't have the sense God gave a monkey to protect theirselves. then they wnat to fuss because someone has to take care of the child (usually the parents of the girl or boy). Think about it long and hard about what you want in a relationship before you are divorced the 3rd time.

Well if you marry someone at least marry them not only because they are hott,but because you share common interest. I see no problem in older men being with younger women,good health to you. But don't be shallow about it,because the beauty of a young girl will fade eventually.

oh yes going out with a 16 year old with no morals or any idea of what she actually wants out of life would be such a astable long term relationship. no. the lady needs to be in the 30's at least for 2 reasons. so you arent a seemingly pervert freak and because she knows what she wants and already has a career and set plan

Yea, its wrong, and not to metion legal. Its sad. The girls 'think' they are old enough to make the decision, but they are so impressionable that the man ends up taking control. It happend to my cousin. She was 16, the guy was 26, the guy told her she was beautiful and gave her sex and they got married, needless to say thank god she woke up. She dropped all her friends and family. So sad. Poor girl will never be the same.

If everything is mainly about money, then everything will go wrong at the end. You'd better look for a girl who really loves/ cares for you and shares viewpoint/ thoughts/ same goal with you. Otherwise, you will feel LONELY and MISERABLE later on. Good luck.

my hubby is 14 years older - we met when I was 26 and he was 40 - he is now going to retire in a couple of years and I still have years - YEARS to work... sure does blow retirement dreams of moving to a warm area and living there or of traveling...
and then there was the communication/generation gap...
think it over, there is a bunch of stuff to consider when looking a life partner
oh and if you want submissive - get a dog
