Im looking to go somewhere, midweek, for about 2 nights...it doesnt necessarily need to be touristy, but stuff to at least look at.. .Somewhere about 2-3 hours (by train) out of London?
My guy wants seaside, (yes its gonna be FREEZING- i told him) but if we cant have a seaside, then somwhere where there is water ( a nice river to walk along, or soemthing)
Please Help...

Hi, THe Gower coast is fantastic, train from London to Swansea

ooh it will be cold!
well if he wants seaside, i suggest brighton! ots about the right sort of distance and it is a really nice place with plenty to see and do. although, it will be very cold and probably rain haha

Swansea Wales. You have seaside. bike trails, city and rolling hills as well as city and bus lines to take you everywhere.
