Julian Graves are cheap, but in my opinion, not particularly good quality

Try the Asian grocers. They use a lot of almonds in their cooking and they are a fraction of the price of the supermarkets. If you live in an area with a large Asian population, see if they will sell on line. The best area are Rusholme Manchester, Leicester, Brick Lane London. Try Yellow pages, the shops advert will state whether they do on line and mail order. Even if they don't ask them, I can't imagine them saying no.
