usually its called solder, and it is sold in long, thin strips. Stained glass suppliers might have some, or perhaps ebay? Also look in larger art stores in the stained glass section.

Do a search for "caming". That's the channeled metal used to join together segments of stained glass. It comes in lead as well as other metals - so you can search for lead caming, brass caming, etc.
