lmao. aren't kids fun? i would say he should spend less time with the dog, but my 11 month old daughter crawls around with things in her mouth and barks. so who am i to give advice? lol. if your boss is coming over to your house on a holiday, i'm assuming you are friendly, just excuse your child and pay no attention to him. your boss should find this amusing, mine would. or you could kennel the kid? ok i'm just kidding, don't kennel your kid.

Its a bad habit that you obviously have not corrected. He only knows what you teach him, and you have't effectively taught him that this is not acceptable behavior. If you all laugh and think its cute, or give him any sort of reinforcement, he is going to continue it.
Tell him that its not acceptable behavior and that "big boys" don't behave that way. Stop reinforcing the behavior if you don't like it.

it's silly, but i bet quite normal. he's pretending to be a dog.
If he doesn't stop when your boss comes, apologize upfront and warn him of your child's behaviour. If your boss has kids, he'll be quite understanding.
Don't sweat it. This is a phase. He's just pretending.
If you want him to pretend to be something else, suggest it..like a sleeping bunny, or a leaping froggie.

Do not invite your boss over until it stops. I'd smack him lightly everytime he licked or sniffed. It is gross and needs to stop.

no,have you gotten a new dog lately?when he is introduced someone should hold him and then take him in another room to play with toys after, and if your answer is yes to the dog you better either get rid of it or take control of your child

Tell him it's inappropriate and give him a time out whenever he does it. Seems to me he wants attention. Praise him when he introduces himself properly.
