welcome to the club! Someone once told me that you cannot control the family you are born into but you can control who you pick. Choose your spouse and friends well. At least you will have them to be there for you. A negative family will suck the life right out of you. I just try to be quiet and not let it get to me and limit how much i see them. I told my step dad one time that if he was not complaing or putting someone down he would not have anything to say. I challenged him for one day to not say anything unless it was nice. He didn't talk for 3 days. it was actually nice! Just don't hate it so much that you end up being that way yourself. sometimes that happens. Just choose well and if you have to, pretend you have a big bubble around you so that anything they say will bounce right off of you. It sounds silly but it works. Don't take it personally. I know it is hard. They probably like to be around you because you are not negative. Do what is good for you.

Are they maximum concepts-blowing? Why ought to it incredibly is a decision between kin and boyfriend? in the adventure that your boyfriend is unwilling to fulfill your loved ones, criticizes the way he believes they stay, their faith, their way of interacting with kin at super, he's sending you a sign that he's an element of the issue. i will in basic terms aid you be attentive to this, background has shown repeatedly lower back that the greater issues human beings have in common, the greater beneficial possibility they have for happiness in marriage. in case you're thinking marriage to this guy, think of concerning the techniques you're alike, to boot with the aid of fact the techniques you're no longer. have confidence your own instincts and don't be swayed by employing the two mothers and fathers or boyfriend. Boyfriends are in some situations a passing fancy. the transformations could seem romantic and relaxing, yet can get extremely dreadful over the years.

My daughter has just decided not to talk to me, because I would not buy her a new car... (that was her Mom's idea).....

I think every family has negative members. I have an aunt who just complains about everything all of the time. She complains that her grown daughters can't get good jobs. She looks at me and everything I have and says, "Gee, I wish Sue could get a job like yours." But Sue is unwilling to do the things I did to get the job that I have. My aunt and her family complain constantly about not having what other people have but they are unwilling to do what other people have done to get to where they are. They think the world owes them everything on a silver platter and that they shouldn't have to do any work to get it. They drive me CRAZY!

My father is that way. He is a politician, so you know he is an as*shole. He judges people way too quick. He thinks he is the greatest thing to have happened ever. He always tries to talk so highly of himself. And definantly negative.
