Is it then harder to erase that person from your life completely, even if they have wronged you in the worst possible way..... eventhough you move on with someone else?....can you really ever let go completely?..... what if children are involved?.....is it possible to do?

You let go after some time, but at first it's very hard. You never stop loving them though, to say that you don't love them would mean that you never loved them to begin with, and that would be a lie.

Sounds like you should have a nice talk with my sister who is going through the same thing.

You will might be able to forgive but you will never be able to forget. It is just something you are going to have to reason with. Think of it this way: he may have done this to do you- but it was probably the best thing that could have happened. Would you really want him to be a roll model to your children? Now you can find some one who appreciates EVERYthing about you.

I have no idea. It is hard to get rid of people especially if children are involved. Don't forget the history, just accept it and move on. That is much better than repeating history and being miserable.

well its called "history" for a reason, but if they have children together there is always some connection there. The relationship between them now is hard 2 judge not knowing much more about the situation though

if you dwell on something you wont forget but if you make an effort to move on you can. but the longer the history the longer the amount of time it will take you to move on.

I hope so. I don't think you ever really forget. You just get to a place where you can't do it anymore.

From my experience no - some little thing will catapult your memory back to them when you least expect or want it.
