SO talk to them. There is nothing wrong with being asked out. That is actually a good thing. Talk to them, they might give you some 'awws' and stuff. but ask if you can go to your date. If you dobnt talk to them, dont lie, talk to the boy/girl your dating and tell them. Nothing wrong with it.

You must tell them with self-assurance. You can't be scared. They know if you are afraid of them and ask them like a little girl, then you're to young.
You didn't specify your age, so as a father, you cant go on a car date until you are 15 and you are trustworthy. If your under 15, no car date, only dances and maybe a movie.
Again, simply tell them, and outline what time you will be home and what kind of chaperon you will have, and if/when they tell you no, don't pout and whine like a little girl. Act hurt and let them know that it isn't right, that you have earned their trust. And you are really hurt that they don't trust you. It is the ONLY way that you will convince them you are old enough, and NOT by acting like a baby girl.

I've been there. My situation was worse because he was 10 years older than me, but i was legal! Anyway, just be honest with them. Tell them someone who you are interested in and is interested in you asked you out. You would love it if they would support you going on a date. It would be even better if you offered to let them meet him without them asking- that way at least they know who the guy is and it's also a safety precaution. You never know who's psycho these days.

Ok.
Yea lol tell your mom, she will probably be more understanding since she was in your shoes once.
Tell her it's nothing too serious, and make sure it's not, it's your first date better play it safe and get to know the guy before more commitment.
But respect any of their wishes. Don't push your parents trust in you.
You have all of life to make good decisions don't mess up any part of it by rash and unwise ones.
Best of luck.

Well how old are you? And have you talked about dating with your parents? Well first of all, you should go up to them and ask them permission, say that you know what can happen, and it wont, and you are prepared, and that your parents will meet him, etc. Make sure you appear very confident and responsible. If you like him, thats great! Good luck!

since its the first time you've been asked out by a guy, tell your mom first because she will handle the news better, least that's from my past experience. then tell your dad and casually bring in that your date is tonight. make sure your parents aren't doing anything important either. that helps alot too.
