No! No such thing as an unlucky month. Please keep your head on straight, because marriage has to do with love and commitment, not the month you get married in. I think June is PERFECT! Lots and lots of people get married in that month because the weather is usually very nice. You've picked a great date!

I was married on June 13, 1993. The day went extremely well, and the marriage has been sound as a bell for fourteen years. Thirteen is only unlucky if it's unlucky in your mind. It doesn't make the luck or break it. Me? I find it lucky. But then my birthday and our wedding anniversary both fall on thirteens, so I tend to associate it in my mind with good things. I harbor no illusions that it's actually doing any specific good. But if the thirteenth makes you uncomfortable, how about looking into the 6th or the 20th?

if you are getting married the month should not be consider unlucky it should be the best day of your life. think positive not negative but if it makes you feel better get married July 7 2007. (7-7-7) is considered a lucky number. I know that i wanted to get married that day cause i love the number seven. My boyfriend said no. Congratulations and good luck

I can't tell you whether it's an unlucky month or not, having never heard anything about it. BUT June is the BIGGEST (i believe) wedding month of the whole year. So consequentially planning a wedding for June is more expensive being it's the peak season/month (I guess that could be construed as minutely unlucky financially wise).

June is not an unlucky month at all. In fact, it's probably still the most popular month to get married. So Enjoy!!

No it's not unlucky. What's unlucky is getting married just to get married. Hopefully you are marrying a man you are proud of. Someone you can see spending the rest of your life with (no red flags of any kind). Someone you truly love. That will be all the luck you need. Congratulations and best wishes!

well I sure hope not, since June has more weddings every year then any other month! Yep - it's true, June is the most popular month to get married, followed closely by August and then May and July.

June is still the most popular month for weddings along with May & August. Sept is rapidly joing the ranks.
And you will pay more for your wedding and all the venues during this time. And top dollar for Saturday @ 7 pm.

First of all, Congrads. Sincerely wish you two the best of luck and all the faithful old fashion love the one that last a lifetime. I just got engaged on Christmas Eve and we are planning to get married this year but have not really discussed a date. All his friends tell us June. Last night they kept telling me "Remember that most women wants to be a June brides." Even the magazines have weddings in June.
I suggest you read this article on tahoe wedding, it gave me a outlook on the months of the year but of course you also need to take in consideration the weather where you live.
