The reason you can't get it out is because it's impossible to get a product way down deep into the foam cushion where the stuff soaked in. Best to start over with new cushions. You can get foam cut to size and just use the same covers, if you can get the smell out of the covers. If the cat peed on the arm of the couch, you can get it reupholstered. But if you still have the cat, it will just happen again.

Like you I tried all the products, two professional services and finally solved the problem.
I returned the couch to Bloomingdales because the material guard company guarantee was a sham with thousands of complaints to the Better Business Bureau. It took many letters, phone calls and sheer tenacity on my part but the department store finally ponied up. We replaced the couch with a leather one.

Get a new couch and get your cat neutered. If he already is, take him to the vet and find out why he is spraying. It may be that you waited too long to get him neutered. In which case, spray orange oil on anything you don't want ruined.

Have you tried Urine Gone? Its one of the best things on the market. If you do not have a store near you that sells it you can go on line. In the meantime try white vinegar. You may have to use a lot and let it soak in for a day but it will help.

You wont be able to get the smell out becuase I suspect the urine has seeped through to the padding underneath. Soak the spot in Nature's Miracle or Petzyme maybe? I mean, the cleaner has to get to where the urine seeped through. Otherwise, you'll have to replace the couch.

Maybe shampoo it with a deodorizer made for pet Oder. If this works you may want to keep on top of it if you can , he will strike again. Remove spray (if possible) as soon as he sprays,(while still wet) with a damp cloth dipped in pet Oder remover solution. Good Luck.

I would throw it out and get a new one. I know the horrid smell. You can't really get it out. It stays for ever. My sister moved into a house that they sprayed the floor! It was a good year before it got out of the woodwork. Not worth it.

have you tried spraying it down with Lysol,,then washing it with a baking soda paste? just mix the soda with a little water, put on, then let it sit for a hour or so,,,, wash with clear water,,,,, if you think the Lysol might fade the spot, test it on the back of the couch first,,,,,,, if a problem, just use the baking soda,,,
