Can I just say... you're a brave lady!
Somewhere so sensitive, you might be best of getting it done professionally... a friend of mine who's a trained beauty therapist thinks you actually shouldn't attempt to wax or sugar yourself because you don't have enough hands! You need two to hold the skin taut, etc (if you want minimal pain & blood) and another hand to pull the wax strip off!
Good luck!

In answer to your question, I would advise you go se a professional to have your pubic hair waxed. I've been having mine done for years this way now. It's money well spent - no pain, no mess and perfect finish once done! Having said that, if you want all of the hair removed from this area (as I do), be mindful to ask if they do it as some don't. They must be qualified to do so as there are few that are.

I would have suggested veet but as you claim it "sucks" then I'd probably recommend having it waxed professionally because veet really should work if you're doing it right.

Definitely go to a professional. It's not really possible to wax yourself without alot of pain and discomfort (unless maybe you're a contortionist) as you just can't get to the right positions to be able to wax effectively at the same time as holding the skin taut enough to ease the pain. I've had many a client coming in with tales of woe from home waxes, you don't want to join them, it's really not worth it!

dude! i tried this with salon quality gigia wax, and let me tell you, DONT DO IT! at least not yourself. its too hard to pull off the wax in one smooth movement on that part of yourself. i ended up with wax stuck to me, and an embarassing, incomplete job. i also couldnt shave or re wax for a week. i can do my legs just fine, but that area is different, the hairs are tougher to pull out, and the skin stretches more. get a girlfriend to do it, or pay a salon, its not that expensive for just that area. if youre determined to do it at home, buy a mid priced waxing kit from the local beauty supply store. apply to only one inch sections, stretch the skin, and keep it stretched til you pull the wax off. apply the fabric strip, and rub in a downward motion. (in the direction of hair growth.) let sit til the wax has cooled slightly. have your good buddy grab hold of the fabric strip, and fold back the edge a tiny bit til it lies flat, and keeping the strip close to the skin, rip off in a smooth motion. (very important, pull ALONG close to the skin, not up and AWAY from it.) when its off, put your hand on it and press for a few seconds, takes the sting out. DO NOT re wax anything, if you missed a few hairs, wait til the next day and pluck with tweezers, dont shave. repeat til youre bare. if you choose to do down the sides, be very careful with placement of wax. if you get the wax anywhere on the inner skin, when you rip it off, some skin with likely go with it. its better to have a few hairs left over than to be missing a bit of some very important skin. the good news is, after all this, the hair will grow in softer, and slower. the next time will hurt less, and the more you do it, the softer and slower the hair grows in. good luck, be careful!

Waxing is temporary hair removal method.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Ouch - I can't imagine doing it myself so I'd strongly recommend going to a stylist to get it done.
For other body hair like my eyebrows, legs, and arms, I use Sally Hansen Microwaveable Body Wax (it's lavender-scented) and while it's really messy and a pain to clean up, it works really well.
