I've always heard that as long as you don't have a fever and you feel up to it, go ahead but go at a less intense pace just so it doesn't deplete all your energy and definitely drink more fluids. Hope this helps.

Sometimes it is actually ok to exercise when ill. Although no one's been able to prove that you can 'sweat out a cold', If your only symtom is a sniffle, moderate exercise can help you feel clearer in the short term. Going for a walk is one of the most effective fixes for a headache. But all too often, exercising when you are unwell can make you sicker than you started out.

Yes, it is bad to exercise when you're sick.
When you're sick, your body has to expend energy to fight that illness. If you exercise at the same time, you are asking your body to do two things at once.
Recover from your illness, then go exercise extra hard.

It's not bad I mean you can do it if you want but when I'm feeling ill I don't want to exercise but I think that's a person's perference.
