Will the picture be tremendous or will they only connect to a non-HDTV only in order to get the full blu-ray picture affect? Just curious. Thanks.

Of course they will silly, that is why they are coming out with them. The HDTV's is actually better than the standard DVD's, so that is why the HD DVD"S are being produced so that they can take full advantage of the HDTV's.. Capiche???

confident there's a huge massive difference. I own between the right upconverting Blu Ray sport enthusiasts for sale. My LG great Blu participant does a superb pastime upconverting commonplace DVD's. I have easily tricked some friends into questioning they have been observing hi def. Then I put in a Blu Ray or an HD DVD really even as they idea the photo might want to now not get to any extent further acceptable. they're blown away as there's a great massive massive difference. the further effective your demonstrate demonstrate is the bigger the version might want to be. A 1080p photo on an more desirable 1080p demonstrate demonstrate is the right of the right and assured you're able to inform.

You COULD hook a Blu-ray player to an OLD television and get a picture IDENTICAL to a REGULAR DVD player...The ONLY benefit then would be the 100% UNCOMPRESSED DIGITAL AUDIO available on Blu-ray discs.

But hooking VIDEO to your HDTV...There are 2 ways...The FIRST way is through the COMPONENT jacks...These are the RED, BLUE and GREEN "RCA" jacks...This will give a picture EQUAL to the Hi-Def pictures you're watching now.

The SECOND way offers an EVEN BETTER picture...This time you need the SUPER EXPENSIVE "HDMI" cable...This will give you a picture TWICE as clear as the Hi-Def programs you've been watching...But as I said, the AUDIO is what makes Blu-ray the BOMB.
