No, I don't but they stare at me, in appreciative ways. So do a few gay people I have noticed.

I feel that men tend to do it more to women but I understand what you mean! I have seen loads of people just staring at others...and not neccessarily the opposite sex. I find it really off putting and makes me self conscious. I only find my self doing it in public if the guy is really hot or if im in deep thought I tend to stare into space which could be seen as that.

I don't stare but if I do see an attractive woman I will glance and admire her but won't just sit there and glare trying to make eye contact etc...
If I am in a conversation I have enough respect & will power not to look down at their cleavage.
However if very revealing clothes are being worn and it's obvious that they are flaunting I'm gonna look just a little bit more ;)

No I don't stare at the opposite sex, I'm happily married and have no interest in other men, happy new year and all the best.

of course it is only normal , what do you look at? lamp posts? public transport? little kids on a play ground? come on it is the most normal thing to do and i don't mean looking straight at a bird's boobs or crotch or try to peep under her skirt , i mean plain looking at the opposite sex as in looking whether the girl is fit or not , the lasses do it as well and anyway it lasts a second : you walk by sum1 look st her and that's it. it's not as i'd be like staring at a bird's **** while she is walking by me... does that answer your question be it just partly...

I accept as true with what you stated relating to the three 2d stare. a speedy look is effective, yet something extra is impolite and disrespectful. noticeably if it is undesirable sufficient that persons even observe.

staring at people is rude. looking at people is normal. sitting in a bar/cafe with a drink watching the world go by is great entertainment, or watching you watching me is good. but don't stare

Yeah. I start wondering where they live, and so I stare until they go home.

Then I follow them and stare some more.
