John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

That’s evil, you have to believe in god’s son to have eternal life and not perish

Yep
Believe or die.......

It never ceases to amaze me either......life is such a mystery.

Some people believe that God is imaginary anyway.

Good Luck :)

Kind regards

I don't know what Bible you are using but it's obviously a very watered down version of the real thing. All those who are saved are the Sons of God. This Bible left of the very important word "BEGOTTEN". Jesus was the only BEGOTTEN son of God. And yes, salvation is simple but the gate is narrow. Believe on Jesus and that he died for your sins and that he rose from the dead. That is what is required for salvation. This is the way it is weather you agree with it or not. You are not choosing between agreeing with God or dissagreeing with Him. You are choosing between obeying Him or not obeying Him. There is not third option. The Bibles says that His ways are not God's ways and his ways are so far above our own minds that we can't possible ever hope to even half way figure out God. If I understood everything there is about God then I would have to be on an equil plain with God which I am not. We are like a little bug next to God, yet he cares about us and loves us.

As people we have all sinned. Heaven and God are so pure and perfect, you would not be able to live there if you have ever sinned. God doesn't kill you, your sins do. Believing in Jesus accepting the gift God gave you takes away your sins allowing you to be clean and enter into heaven. That's not evil, that's love.
Heaven wouldn't be heaven if there were all the evil and sin that exists on earth.

It's not evil. We needed a Savior and God sent the only perfect Savior that he would accept. Someone paid the price for you so you could be free. That's not evil.

It's like saying the ONLY money anyone here in the US will accept is US Dollars and that's evil. It's not evil, it's just the way it has to be. Only ONE way and that's it!

Before this everyone had to kill an animal to get the blood to make an atonement for sin.
Jesus (the Son of God) is a more righteous sacrifice for the atonement for all our sins.

And it's a bit puzzling to me about why God would have to send his only Son down to Earth to die a horrible death on the cross to save us. I mean, this is God, the Creator of everything that exists! And the only way He could save us was to send His only Son down to Earth to die a horrible death on a cross?

This make no more sense than throwing a virgin into a volcano so God will save us. Just another primitive tribal belief system, if you ask me. Somebody has to die so God will be nice to us.

Yep. I have no idea how you get "evil" out of that, but it seems pretty simple. If it bothers you that much, pray that God will enlighten you about this and I think I can safely say He'll show you a way to understand it.

~How is it good that God loved us so very much that he gave his only son to save us? You need to read the rest of, at least that page!
That is not evil, your question is.~

Without the salvation offered by the blood shed by Jesus, all would be kept out of Heaven. So, it is good that Jesus shed His blood, so we may live, those who accept Him as Lord and Savior, and who take up their cross and follow Him.

Is that too hard for you to believe? That Christ has walked the earth? And that He died for your sins?
There is nothing evil in this or it wouldn't work salvation.
