there is only one mistake that you can not fix. all others can be overcome even if not right away. meaning it might take a long time to deal with it. but when you kill yourself, you have made the biggest mistake. no fixing it. so,there it is.

Making deals with evil, and to forfeit my soul,, Every other mistake is pardonable and there is always room for correction. But this is the greatest mistake one could ever make in life.

"WHAT IT WOULD PROFIT A MAN IF HE HAS GAINED THE WHOLE WORLD AND FORFEITS HIS OWN SOUL" ( JESUS CHRIST)

Allowing someone else to dictate to you what to believe, living your life as a lie, conforming to a philosophy or religion that you personally cannot embrace as truth - it's a waste of your life. You have one life to live - don't give it away to someone else and allow another person to control your mind and heart. Of course, we need to listen and learn from others, read, study, meditate, but always "To thine own self be true."

Not learning from your past mistakes and repeatedly doing the same things.

allowing yourself to be spoonfed your beliefs and not actually taking the time to figure it all out for yourself. Not taking the time to read, study, and interpret whatever religious text you prefer. Not taking the time to understand the history of the religion you prefer to practice. Allowing yourself to be told how to think, when to think, and what to think by some authority who has likely gone through the same process of being told what to think as you in the first place.

Looking back on the past with regrets instead of learning from your mistakes, and taking things too seriously.

IMO not living it to the best of your ability and making it the best it can be. This life is too short to waste, yet many people do.
