Honestly, I and most people I know were still figuring out who we were at 19. Your personality will still change and evolve dramatically over the next few years. Your views of the world will change. Your beliefs about what you treasure, lust and respect will be different by 24 or 25. The person you would commit to at 19 is probably the wrong choice by 25.

There are good things about being single at any age. The best thing one is you have no one to answer to. You can do what you want, when you want and there is no one to question you. Trust me, I was with my ex-husband since I was 18 and at 30something, it was the best feeling in the world after we divorced and I realized I could do anything I wanted and no one would say anything about it!!

The brain is still developing and maturing. You are able to prepare yourself for great things to come (a relationship) and concentrate on being the best, happiest, most productive person you can be.

you have all the freedom;
you don't hv to worry what your guy is doing and whether he has been cheating on you,
you're entitled to enjoying the hunks' attention; you open the eyes of the ever-streaming suitors hot on your heels;
you have more free time for yourself, think of how you can upgrade every aspect of your life;
a single status simply makes you sound young and free!

You will have more time to figure yourself out and being who you are rather than being who some guy wants you to be. As long as you have a few buds, you don't need anything more :)

If you have a good job, you can do just about whatever you please. Take vacations with friends, stay out all night without having to answer to anyone, I could go on and on. Enjoy while you can! Marriage is the hardest job you will ever have!

Happy New Year!! :)

If you're going to college, you have more time to focus on your studies. If you're working, you have more time to focus on building up a career. If you're involved in a lot of activities, you have more opportunity to balance them all out.
