Ok ive been with this girl for two months and her bday is coming up but i dont know what to get her. She got me something really expensive for Christmas so id kind of like to make it up to her with out spending way too much. Any ideas????

A necklace, bracelet, a dozen roses, or maybe take her out to dinner and go home and watch a movie. I always love that.

Best advice: FIND OUT WHAT SHE LIKES. And not just things that can be bought. Does she like books? Music? Massages? Flowers? Take her to a big library. Write her a song. Rub her feet. Take her to a garden. There are a lot of inexpensive and free things to DO out there. You can still buy her something, but tie it into the overall experience, embellish the simple gift with the spice of adventure. Create some memories.

Really, I think something personal would out-do an expensive gift. Maybe it could relate to a personal joke or something that linked to early in your relationship. Whatever it is, be sure to write a nice card - mmm, man poetry, haha.

Send her flowers with an invitation to a special dinner at a really nice restaurant where they have a dance floor. She should love the romance of that kind of a date to mark the occasion of her birthday.

well find out what she likes. by observing her and listening to her u will get to know what she likes and dislikes.almost all girls love jewellery.maybe u could try to find a swarovski crystal jewellery.
i dont kbow how expensiv u want to go or how low u want the cost to be.

why did she feel she had to splash out on agift? is it bcoz of her insecurities.
if she is expecting something as expensive as her git then her gift is no gift at all. i thought bar tendering was out :S
get her something u are comfortable spending, something nice unique and personal.

You could go for something personalised. It could be jewlery or maybe something else.....by personalising it, she will see that thought went into the present and its not all about the cost.
