He reminds me of those surfer jerks in highschool and college. Just the way he talks tells me he is an SOB. REPLACE HIM WITH RANDY COUTURE, BAS RUTTEN, OR STEVE QUADROS!!!!!!
What fighting experience does this guy have? What mma experience? NONE.
I say FIRE JOE ROGAINE

anyone who know anything about mma knows that joe rogaine is undeserving for this job. Reading the answers so far only proves one thing, if women get involved in mma the sport will be dead in a few years.

Yeah, Joe Rogan should go to the Travel Channel, Discovery or TLC. like some Travel show or make-over show (something that suits him better). Randy Couture, Ken Shamrock or Bas Rutten should replace him.

I like Joe Rogan as an announcer, he's knowlegeable and seems to really get into the fight. He also brings some mainstream familiarity to the UFC as he is fairly well known outside the UFC. I would really love to see Randy Couture do more commentary as he seems to be a natural at it (sorry).
I get what you mean about the lack of experience in the MMA but I believe that he does have a background in martial arts and wrestling. At any rate, Dana White feels that he's good for the UFC.

I like the guy, he's respectful to the game and the fighters and enthusiatic about the sport. He's pretty knowledgable too, no ones perfect. You need a guy who represents the average young male which is what makes up the majority of the audience, a younger male from like 25 to 35. I like Bas and Randy too, but they should be analyzing and not necessarily a host.

I like Joe. He does have TKD experience and tournament experience ( and he fought Andy Dick on the show "just Shoot Me" LOL!)
If you don't like this guy because of some jerks in High School and College than it sounds like you have some sort of inner issue you need to work through.
I remember when UFC started they used to have NFL star Jim Brown hosting. He had no idea what he was watching or talking about. If you listen Joe is pretty accurate when he speaks.

Joe shouldn't be fired, he's considered a MMA expert (with specialties in BJJ an Taekwondo. Also, he does have some MMA experience.( If you were a long time fan you would know this.) He was a four time state champion in taekwondo as well.

Joe Rogan is a very knowledgeable announcer. In announcing you always have at least 2. One is the color commentator ( makes all the color full statements) and the other is the technical commentator ( talks abouts stats and moves etc.) Joe is doing a good job.

I believe he has a black belt in Tae Kwon Doe. I am not sure about MMA but would bet that it is zero. From what I have read about him, he is very insecure and over compensates for it by trying to be brash and loud. I wouldn't mind seeing Bas step in for him.
