I hate India because their women are more beautiful than American girls and their people are smarter and they're taking all the computer and medical jobs away from us stupid Americans!

Who are you talking about when you say India is hated? I know India is not understood by a lot of people in the Americas because of the culture differences. When I flew to Asia for the second time to work my first vacation was to India because it was a place I always thought had a great history and very interesting culture. I find a lot of individuals from the Americas who try to go to India once they are on this side of the globe. Now if you are asking why do different governments hate India I would have to admit to my ignorance on that subject? I believe it is always best to leave politics out of any conversation about how a place is viewed for the simple fact the average citizen in any country will be more open then there government and have the ability to see individuals as individuals rather then a single political view. I had a great time in India and most people that I have talked to who have gone loved it. The question you are asking is very vague maybe if you specify who hates India then you would receive better answers.
The only reason I can think of that would cause someone to hate India would be if they did not really know anything about India. Lack of knowledge about any subject causes one to fear it because it is an unknown. (For example: A student may be afraid to take Algebra due to the fact they do not understand what Algebra is. If they do not comprehend Algebra fast enough they will then hate the subject because it is something they do not understand. Rather then taking the time to learn about the subject they will ignore it.) I do not mean to compare a whole country and its people to a simple Algebra class but simply wanted to give an example of how someone deals with an unknown. I am afraid India is somewhat of an unknown to most because there is not much information about it floating around that people see on a daily basis. You really have to look up information on India to learn anything about it and in this day and age people want to be told what to think and have knowledge force fed to them rather then research anything for them selves. So until India has a hit TV show or a publicity campaign on the internet there will really never be too many people looking into India unless they are world travelers and can appreciate the history and culture of a country like India. I would bet 90% of people in North America think India is an Empire ruled by a King.

India is not hated in the West by anyone I know of. The thing you might be hearing is that many Americans are not happy with jobs being outsourced to other countries, one of which is India. It is not hatred towards another country though. It is anger at the companies not keeping jobs here.

May God Bless you. Happy New Year.

Who hates India now? My goodness.

I think some Europeans don't like Indians because they don't like how many have arrived in their countries; but I don't think they hate India the country. They are simply afraid the Indian man is stronger than them with a greater intelligence and larger apparatus of love and will steal the imagination of the little blond European women like the strong Arab did in England and France. But they like India the country.

They just can't risk any more princesses getting divorced 'cause they behold the magnificence of the brown Asian man's towering Johnson and are drawn after it with full resolve. In a way, who can blame them.

The AMericans all have full sized Johnsons, so they don't mind the Indians or the Arabs. You can make a lot of good money in America. American business men will pull up at your gas station in their expensive car and treat you like your stupid for working at a gas station, never realizing you have a bigger net worth than him. But his Johnson is just as big, unlike the European man, so you can't really feel better than him.

BTW, didn't India invade Pakistan and actually annex parts of it?I don't care. I still like India because of its spicey food, I just question the truth of your assertion on the invasion issue.

Au Contraire!! We adore India. Indian Restaurants are highly popular, Indian culture is making in roads via Bali-wood and the clothing. Hindu and Yoga conversions are on the rise.

I'm surprised you've found it otherwise!

Perhaps it's because ill-informed, bigoted people see dark-skinned individuals and think you may be from an Islamic country. They probably couldn't find India on a map with a magnifying glass.

I don't know that India is hated, but as for your other assertions ...

What does democracy mean in India? Crass manipulation of caste, class and religion.

Secular? Not exactly, remember until a few years ago the sons of Hinduism Hitler Youth were running the show in Delhi.

Nobody hates India. What are you talking about? I've lived in the US my entire life, and have paid close attention to politics and international relations. If people in the West hate India, they aren't American people. I think you are misinformed.

I've never known of anyone hating India. If anything, it's looked upon as the birthplace of religions and a unique culture.
