Being able to see Immigration Canada's website makes it relatively easy to apply. But here's your big problem, if you want to apply as a skilled immigrant. You must:
• either have a job already waiting for you here (faster through a provincial nominee program, but that costs $550);
• or prove you have enough money to support yourself after you arrive – at least $10,168 (Canadian), or $12,659 for two family members, or $15,563 for three. Our government also checks that you didn't borrow that money.
