Yes, I used to live in Robin Hood's Bay, which is about 15 miles up the coast from there. Scarborough is just a typical Kiss-Me-Quick place, but Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby are astoundingly beautiful.
If your going on your hols, Hibee, I insist you send me a postcard ;o)

Yes I Have!! Its a wonderful little city in Tobago with Lotsa Friendly People,,lost of commercial businesses like banks, shopping, restaurants, museum, transportation hub,,,has a deep water port which houses the Inter-Island Ferries - Fast Ferries:The Lynx, The Cat and the Slow Ferry: Panorama
It also has a scenic Bay with a Protective Sea Wall...
Scarborough, Tobago is the largest town on Tobago, one of the two islands of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Its population is around 17,000, almost one-third of the population of the island. The town is dominated by Fort King George, an 18th Century fortification named for King George III which now hosts a historic/archaeologic museum. Scarborough's deepwater harbour was built in 1991; before that ships were forced to anchor offshore.
Scarborough became the capital of Tobago in 1769 when it replaced the then-capital of Georgetown. Under French rule it was named Port Louis.
Its Trinidad Equivalent is Port of Spain...

Yes, several times. Two bays, a couple of cliff lifts and loads of fish and chip shops, but I don't go to unknown links so I don't know what it's all about and probably never will.
