no because we kill every day.

Our immune system kills millions of viruses and bacteria every day.

We are indirectly responsible for killing the plants and animals we consume for food.

The real verse should be "thou shalt not murder" which is unjustified killing.

Of course it is not a sin to kill someone defending your own life or the life od someone else.

I personally think you need to change your name and take a chill pill. If you believe there is ever a justification for killing a police officer, you have some serious psychological malfunctions. Maybe Mommy didn't hug you enough or Daddy beat you one time too many, but whatever the reasons for your dislike for cops, you need professional help, and you need it before you end up a victim of your own psychosis. The biker probably had the same disrespect and disregard for the cops that you do, and you see what happened to him.

Only if there was hate or revenge in the heart that killed in so-called self defense, would it be a sin. Is it a sin to protect the ones that you love? No. You would fight to the death to protect them.

All depends on the cause or reason you are force to take that action. Did you just rob a bank at gun point and the cop was waiting for you outside the bank?
If the cause is one of poor judgement on your part. yes, it is against god's law. But if not, remember to dispatch the person/persons in a kind. loving manner.

No, absolutely not. The commandment that many interpret as "thou shall not kill" is not correct. It is actually "thou shalt not do murder" and murder in the manuscripts is very clearly defined as "lying in wait to do fatal harm" - or more commonly known as premeditated murder.
It is absolutely Biblical that you practice self defense, and also that if someone breaks into your home to do harm to your family, you are to protect them and your property.
