talk to her and explain the situation. i dont see why she should hold a drunken snog against you, especially if you make it clear you prefer her over her friend and kissing her mate was a mistake. That said, there's a great big thick line you shouldnt cross when kissing girls who are friends, so I wouldnt be too surprised if she knocks you back

Well, she's mad at you, so, you know. Patience is a virtue. If she's going to forgive you for it, she'll do it in her own sweet time no matter -what- you do. Just make it plain that you're interested in her still - even if she's snappy at you, just... shrug it off and keep going. Girls like persistence, and if you pay her more attention than any of the other women at work, she won't fail to notice.
Once she goes back to talking to you, just explain it calmly and with a level head. If she's interested, she'll understand. (And quite possibly already be trying to figure out a good reason as to why this has happened - ie one that involves you still wanting her.)
You are, however, potentially screwed. Just to be honest. This is why drinking is a bad idea. ;p

What exactly do you term "making out"? Did you have sex with her, or was it just a kiss? There's a big difference. If you had sex with this friend, then you might as well give it up. However if it was just a kiss, then you might actually stand a chance. Sit down with this girl, talk to her, and explain yourself. Just don't use the whole drunk excuse, women hate that. Own up to what you did.

What should you do? You should stop being a LOSER! You like a girl, but not so much to want to win her away from another guy that you THINK she is hanging out with?
You sound like a wimpy man who does not have the balls to play with the big boys, babe.

probably not, she's thinking if you do this now you're going to do it when you're going out. and being under the influence is about the worst excuse you can give for doing something like that. really, you did nothing wrong since you weren't together, but it feels to her like you betrayed her and she doesn't know if she's going to be able to get over it.

Your only chance is to use the I was Drunk line. Politicians and actors use it and it can work. I wouldn't mention you thought she was with another guy, as it would question her morality. I would take the blame ask forgiveness (with the I was so drunk line) and let the chips fall where they may.

First off, whatever you do, do not blame your actions on the booze. Take total blame on yourself. Tell this girl that you really like her. Also, take no further action with her best friend. If you do you could cause even more problems.

you did make the biggest mistake ever, but like you said you had been drinking.
talk to her what ever way you can let her know how you feel. send flowers(or leave some on her desk) email, talk to her friends let them know how you feel. If you are sincere her friends will help you.

tell her how you feel and don't screw up anymore. Don't ever assume things, you usually look stupid in the end. Good Luck and Happy New Year!!
