You should both be there for each other. Also, be willing to help your friend with physical tasks and help him/her through emotionally difficult times. Don't judge your friend. However, don't be a doormat. In other words, if either person in the friendship uses the other, then it's not a friendship. Be supportive.

My friends are my true brothers and sisters. We are there for each other no matter what. We can disagree and know that it's ok to. We can be brutally honest with each other and still love each other. A good friend will last a lifetime. A good friendship is an example of the way all people should really treat each other.
May God Bless you. Happy New Year.

Read 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is long suffering and kind.
Love is not jealous, it does not bragg and does not get puffed up.
Does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests.
Does not become provoked, it does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness but rejoices with the truth. it bears all things, believes all things. hopes all things and endures all things. Love never fails.
Now, that is a true friend.

A true Christ-ian does not "believe", but rather "know"s.
Ye shall KNOW the truth...shall make you free: Jn 8:32.
"know"-ing the truth makes you free of "believe"-ing the lie.
Devils "believe": James 2:19
So "believe not" every spirit: 1John 4.
Rather try (test drive) the Spirits: Law & Grace
Obviously to KNOW which is witch of two Gods
http://www.godshew.org/TwoGods.htm
Friend: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee... Grace
Enmity: I will forsake you, the city, your fathers... Law
Christ is our peace who abolished the Enmity(Law): Eph 2
Which (law & grace) things are an allegory: Galatains 4

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

A good friendship is one in which you are more concerned about the needs and desires of your friend more than your own needs and desires.

friends just doing things together that are morally good. If one wants to do wrong the other should remind the one it is wrong and try to steer the one clear.
