Pack up your old Kit Bag?...an AP poll on what Americans think will happen in 2007 indicates that 25 percent anticipate the second coming of Jesus Christ THIS YEAR.
If you agree, what is your prognostication based on?
Sorry if the complexity of this question does not make sense to some readers.
Incidentally, the meaning of prognostication is easily looked up on Dictionary.com

People can only speculate. Jesus did give His Disciples some insight to His return and we see these things happening more and more. Which could mean it is close. I really not think Jesus will return in 2007, not sure why people picked this year. He does say He will come as a thief in the night, which means when people least expect it. Now, I have done the math on this and I feel it be 2025. Ha! Actually I do play with the math/numbers on this, I find it fun and it gets me to searching the Bible for answers and clues, but, I really can not promise it be 2025.
I did the numbers mentioned above about 5 years ago, it not come to 2007. I have the number somewhere, I going to guess it was like in the year 3000 + I just not remember, sorry.

Does the Antichrist have to claim to be God first? I thought that I read that he announces himself as God first. I am not sure. What I do know is that I am ready. I hope that it is soon. I hope this as I care for all on this site who have not accepted Christ as their Savior. I think that if it does happen and millions and millions of Christians disappear they may change their mind about Christ. They may realize that we are not as crazy as we sound. A lot of Christians are apostate. I can see why "unbelievers" are turned off towards Christianity. A carnal Christian is not a pretty sight. I look forward to his return. I look forward to ruling with Him. I want ALL the blessings that He has for me. I know that Christ will return when his Royal family is complete. The number of believers will equal the number of demons. No man knows the hour.
If you are an unbeliever, remember that it just takes a second of time to be saved. (John 3 :36). Decapitation is painless. DO NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST!!!! Happy New Year and Peace out.

We entered the Spiritual Age in February 2006.
It would appear appropriate for further progress to be made in 2007. "2007" is a sacred number.

It will be the year that Christ makes his presence to be known.

I am only concerned about the unrealistic ideas that people have about the way this would be happening. Rationally, this can simply happen by the Soul of Christ co-incarnating a suitable Soul-mate, and working with, and through him.

Read "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website, to understand my reply more fully. It is endorsed by Christ.

there have been no community people residing in what may be the u . s . 2000 years in the past. If Christianity have been the actual faith, does not you assume societies remoted from the middle east to have comparable myths and ideology on your own? No how might desire to they in the event that they never heard the message and are remoted without touch of the exterior international. does not you assume that Jesus (or somebody comparable) might have come down and informed the Aztecs, Incas, Mayans, and so on approximately Christianity? not in the event that they did not exist 2000 years in the past rather, their first touch with Jesus message consisted of a brutal genocide on the palms of Christian Conquistadors? the Conquistadors have been purely christian in call as their greed for gold and the homicide they did confirmed. They weren't christian. they did not convey the message of Jesus, that may not maximum suitable. They delivered their own message of dying and destruction.

The 2007 theory is base on the fig tree parable. A fig tree means Israel in scripture and Jesus said when you see it budding again, that generation will see the end. Israel became a nation in 1967 and a generation is considered 40 years so they assume 2007 is the last year it can happen. I don't believe that theory because other elements are not fulfilled yet.

John 14 : 1 -3.....Let not your heart be troubled : ye believe in God , believe also in me .. In my Fathers house are many mansions : if it were not so , I would have told you . I go to prepare a place for you .. And if I go and prepare a place for you , I will come again , and receive you unto myself ; that where I am , there ye may be also .. And whither I go ye know , and the way ye know .////////////////////// Thinking or using mans` imagination to "guess "at the time when Jesus will return is a mistake that man has made for ages ! The mystery of His return is for God to know !! Christians are to be faithful, and be prepared for His return ..

The Americans nor any other country can make Jesus come, Only God knows that day, But it does not said that The Bride can not know the week or month, it only says we won't know the day or hour, And as of right now, The Bride has not been informed yet, But Jerusalem Is God's time pieace & Israel is also, watch them, Then soon the Bride can know what week or month, but never the day or the hour. Because his coming will not be hidden to the Bride.

I feel , based on personal experience and revelation, that Jesus will not return for another thousand years.

Only God knows. We can speculate all we want but it does appear soon. Could be this year or in the next 20 years. Many prophecies have come true and not many more need to be fullfilled before He returns.

to pilgrim: Israel became a nation in 1948, but yes it still IS a very important prophecy that came true.
