in America, we're rapidly building a nation consisting of places that are just not worth caring about. Strip malls, fast food palaces (complete with the giant neon hamster tubes in front), Squall-marts, Blowes, Home Despot, gas stations, kwicky marts, etc.

Our public buildings look like mobile home dealership, our churchs like muffler shops, and our schools look like prison, or maybe insecticide factories.

SO, since architecture has utterly abandoned its soul, natural heritage sites are the only places left to escape the blandness and recharge our batteries.
