The Comforter is the HOLY Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. IT came with Jesus and was released before He ascended to Heaven.

It seems that you've been given a revelation by the Comforter that's telling you to convert to Christianity in the dream you mentioned.

As far as true religions and their books go, they've all been corrupted. Ove the centuries mankind has given its interpretations in different languages and meanings. Its no way any of these words have stayed completely in their pure form unless you can find the absolute original. Even then, the author may have embellished or deleted some infromation that could be very powerful.

I do not recall in any of these writings GOD claiming to be a Jew, Muslim, Christain, Buddist and so on. What I do know is that HE says, "I AM the ALPHA and the OMEGA", the begining and end of all things.

I'm a Christain because I do believe in Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, the Ultimate Sacrifice.

Pray to that inner voice you hear, the Comforter that dwells with you and communes with GOD for guidance. Don't be afraid to go against your family and friends and what they believe. GOD says many will be seperated on HIS account. Trust your spirit and have faith.

I think that it is great that you are searching the way you are but I think you need to understand something about Christianity. Many times it is looked at by its mistakes and perversions, and not from the founder Jesus Christ. Also one of the biggest mistakes people make is looking at Christianity as a religion. Being Christian is not about being religious. It’s about connecting with God. How awesome is it that God Loves You so much that he came down to earth as a human to demonstrate how much he loves you by the cross. There are many, many questions about God that we may never find the answer to on this Earth. I believe that God wants us to keep searching and asking question and he will reveal him self to us but I think we should always look at these question from the point of view of love.

It’s the missing piece to the puzzle.

Why did God create the World…? For a foundation of his love!
Why did God create us…? To have someone to Love!
Why did he let Jacob wrestle with him all night…? He loved him!
Why did he die on the cross…? Because he loved Me, he loves you!
And why did God not leave him there up on that cross…? Because he loves you!

All the tools, all the resources, all the experience you know it comes down to three simple words “I Love You!”

The comforter that Jesus is talking about is the Holy Spirit. Now explore what that mean to you. Keep reading the Bible I believe it is easier to start in the New Testament. If you have never read the Bible try Mark first. I know many people say to start in John but I find that many find Mark less confusion. Keep praying- Talk to God real. He has big shoulders he can take it. Turn to him daily. May God Bless you. I hope this helps even just a little. I’ll pray for you. Barry

Friend If you are truely sincere with the ONE TRUE GOD & not allah, Yes God will answer your prayers, You ask who the Comforter was, The Holy Ghost is the comforter & he did come back on the day of Pentacost, in Acts Chapter 2 The Holy Ghost is the spirit of God living in our bodies with measure, God lived in Jesus Christ with out measure, You want to find the one true teaching, study the teachings of the Apostles of Old, That is also in Acts chapter 2 confirming what doctrine to follow, Plus it is also in many other places in the Bible. Now True Christiananity will not lead you astray, But Make-believe Christians will or a young zealous Christian can even confuss your mind more, They get save one night & the next day, they are ready to tell the world what the bible says, That is plain stupidity, I have been a Christian for over 36 years, & I am still learning, but what I have learned, no one can take it away from me. You said in your dream That you thought about converting to Christiananity, maybe God is answering your prayer, But please understand, you won't learn it all over night, I, Myself follow the True Teachings of the Apostles of Old, & also The Apostles of our days, Yes there is still Apostles, Prophets, Evanagelists, Pastors & Teachers in our time, Read Ephesians 4:11-17 IT tells you what is in the ministry today & for what purpose & for how long. Also Read St. John 14:26 But the comforter which is the HOLY GHOST--- & also St. John 15:26 It tells us the comforter is the spirit of truth.

The comforter lives within you. Doomsday is a different time for each human. Yes, there were many writings that were discarded and not permitted to be included, edited by the religious leaders of the time. All religions point to the same truth. We create all evils, and the devil is your egoic thoughts, not some entity.

Your suffering seems to be escalating, which is good, which is just the opposite of what your mind thinks. You will not find the truth outside yourself. If the truth was somewhere "out there", someone would find it and share it with everyone. There is only one truth, is there not?

You must go deep within yourself to find. As you do, you will have to eventually quit searching, but you must search first. Reason, the truth is not lost, that is why you cannot seem to find it.

You are correct there are many books in circulation that are called holy. The bible, book of mormon, The Torah, The Qu'ran.

Luke 16:16 - The law and the prophets were until John.

We just need to follow the teachings of the prophets leading up to the death of John the baptist. Which was Jesus and the prophets before him.

Did Allah/God say you need to pick a certain religion and you will inherit God's kingdom? (Christian, Muslim, Jew) NO he did not.

Instead he gave us simple to understand laws:

Thou shalt love the Lord they God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matt.22:37-40.

The comforter is the Holy Spirit. That fact is clearly stated in the New Testament by Jesus Himself.
We had the Bible as early as 300BC it was ratified later and others were rejected. The Bible (KJV) is true to the original text and accepted books.
Read the Gospel of John I pray you will find comfort.
Also I will be willing to talk to you. Use my e-mail.
PEACE be unto you!

If you want peace and eternal happiness-"He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on Him".( John 3:36).
The comforter is the Holy Spirit . He comes when you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. It takes one second of time to believe. God has many promises and blessing to claim. He wants us to be happy, relaxed and to trust him. God loves you and "Soda I" Peace out.

The Comforter has come! If you see with your own eyes and not through the eyes of others - if you hear with your own ears and not through the ears of others - investigate the Baha'i Faith. You will find the answers to all of your questions.

“Know thou assuredly that the essence of all the Prophets of God is one and the same. Their unity is absolute. God, the Creator, saith: There is no distinction whatsoever among the Bearers of My Message. They all have but one purpose; their secret is the same secret. To prefer one in honor to another, to exalt certain ones above the rest, is in no wise to be permitted. Every true Prophet hath regarded His Message as fundamentally the same as the Revelation of every other Prophet gone before Him. …
The measure of the revelation of the Prophets of God in this world, however, must differ. Each and every one of them hath been the Bearer of a distinct Message, and hath been commissioned to reveal Himself through specific acts. It is for this reason that they appear to vary in their greatness. …
… God’s purpose in sending His Prophets unto men is twofold. The first is to liberate the children of men from the darkness of ignorance, and guide them to the light of true understanding. The second is to ensure the peace and tranquility of mankind, and provide all the means by which they can be established. …” -Baha'u'llah

God is guiding you.
