All that "satan" ever did in the grim fairy tale book - oops, bible - was ask questions and suggest people think for themselves. It's "god" who is the rapist and mass murderer.

No, man is responsible for these things. Man brought these things into the world by disobeying God. I know that this is hard to understand, but our God isn't a cruel God.

The killing of the first born sons was actually the reaction to a decision by Pharaoh.

Ditto with Plagues and Drought

Flooding the earth was the way of cleansing it of people that were dreadfully sinful.

It may seem cruel, but it's not. Especially when you have an eternal view of history instead of our limited view.

God had these first born sons killed because their fathers and grandfathers and great-grandfathers turned their backs on God and heeded all of God's generations of warnings. God didn't wants more generations of sinners and thus more generations of sinners walking the planets so He took out the sons, stopping a long line of sinners, who would have done great destruction later one. (He can do this because He created humans, He can destroy humans)

He spread plagues (and still does) to give signs to unbelievers. Egyptians stopped believing for generations even though they heard stories of the Israelites' YHVH. Plague after plague came and yet pharoah still did want to give in. I think he began to belief because cattle died and cattle was one of their gods and the sun disappeared and the god of sun, Ra, wasn't stronger than the God of the Isrealites, and frogs fell from the sky and frogs were a sign of fertility to the Egyptians and such. So the plagues that God showered upon them were all against their own gods. So pharoah knew that the God of the Israelites' did exist and was very strong but pharoah was very stubborn and didn't want to give in. So God did the last plague, killing of first born sons, and that killed pharoah son, who was in line to the throne. Then pharoah gave in and left the Israelites go. (God can do these things because He is God)

Droughts and floods - God brings 'natural disasters' on from time to time to punish people. To show us that He is still here. Also to destroy a group of sinners and to bring people together. With every disaster, people come together to help each other out. rebuilding the town, houses, bringing water and foods, clothes, etc. Death comes to destroy sinners like Sodom and Gomorrah (homosexuals). Disasters have been happening all the time that kill hundreds and thousands. I'm not sure if every one is directly from God's hand or not. But we should carefully look at each one to see what those people were doing, how they were living their lives, how their gov't were governing, who they were hurting or killing, their history, where their furture was going... and see if maybe that disaster was from God's hand. Because God can at any time destroy a person or a city to stop evil in order help His people. He never has to justify Himself to any human for any of His actions. He is God after all. At the end of it all, we will all come to understand it all and will say "OH, now I get it!"

You are think more of yourself than you should. You being His creation are His to do with as He pleases. If you would follow Him in the ways of faith and righteousness then there never would have been reason for Him to take any action to correct human evil. But no we had to do things our own way. If you think He hasn't the right to do these things take it up with Him next time you see Him.. It should be too much longer and you'll get your chance... Jim

The question is not Did God Do IT? It is, How do we respond to what He created? In the story of Job, it is satan that administers the destructive attempts. God makes sure that in the end, Job is blessed with more than he had before he lost everything, because of his faith. Man has always credited God with disasters. However, to criticize God because of disasters, we also have to praise Him for blessings. Are you also willing to do that?

many think of that.saying:my god took my baby(when died on a tragedy)does god really kill a baby as a way to bring him close to him?we have to look at the account of faith ful job(job1:8,and job 2:9)satan keeps on testing his integrity to god not god testing his integrity.so he was experiencing these hardships.adam and eve as well, had perfect life conditions and lost it due to them we have imperfections......satan cahllenge god that man(pertaining to all)will compromise their faithfullness to him in exchange for convinience(job 2:4)....and satan wants people to think that god is that wicked to do all this things which is not true(2corinthians 4:4)and the bible says :.....When under trial, let no one say: ‘I am being tried by God.’ No; for with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.(james 1:13)...why? because god is not wicked(job 34:10)

Jehovah God is not responsible for any of the problems you have listed. Between Satan & man's imperfection; that is what is responsible for all the problems that man experiences today. Jehovah is a God of love! He would never bring the problems that man face today.

Satan is a hopeless amateur regardless. Yes God is responsible for all those things and there are more to come. Does it bother you that millions adore and worship Him despite all this? I thought it was OK for everyone to have their own beliefs.

According to the bible, man brought these things upon himself, through disobedience. I think God must be on a LONG vacation.
Satan seems to be working overtime, though.
