To keep your hair straight, you first need a good straightener. You can find some good ones at Folica.com. I use an FHI, and some spray that makes my hair straighter, and it works really well.

i dont kno how curly it is or how fine or coarse, which will make a difference in what i say, but just as a suggestion, i would go to a trusted salon and have consultation with a stylist. its a free thing that u can do and get a chance also to learn about some products. there r a couple of options without seeing ur hair. u can use a flat iron, which i am sure u do already, maybe shampoo the hair every other day, so it doesnt get too dry using it all the time. also u can think of a permenant straightner, its alot more damaging on the hair, the cost of the procedure can differ, depending on where u live but if ur hair is pretty healthy u should be fine. ALSO, keep in mind that even tho it has been chemically straightened that when u get out of the shower, when u blow dry, u will probably still need to run a flat iron over it. just listen to ur stylist on how to take care of ur newly straightened hair.

The most sections I could get by using four straight lines in a circle was ten. Maybe you could figure something out from there. Draw the circle. Next draw two vertical lines. Now you have three sections. Draw an X through those two lines. now you have ten. starting at the top of the circle you should have made a triangle then a pentagon then a triangle. The middle section should contain a quadrilateral, two triangles making a bowtie figure, then another quadrilateral. The last section should be the same as the top. it's not quite twelve but hopefully it's close enough to help you figure out how to get 12 sections.

If you want to keep your hair straight, be sure to use a good flat iron, preferrably ceramic. After straightening, be sure to brush through your hair. To make sure your hair stays straight, you can always go to your local drug store and ask about which straightening serums they have.
