I want to put streaks on just the top layer of my hair, but i did a perm a couple months ago and it KILLED my hair! I need to cover my roots, but i'm NOT doing an all over colour, just the streaks to cover them up. Do you think this is o.k.?

If you want to get your hair back I suggest you do this. Use tea leaves and lemon juice as they help prevent hair fall. They also lead to soft and shiny hair. You need to boil the leaves in water and strain out the tea. Add a little lemon juice to this concoction and wash your hair with it. Rinse your hair thoroughly.

Its OK if you want to enter 2007 looking like a scarecrow. Otherwise you will make an appointment for a new cut and conditioner ASAP. You may want to get a semi/demi permanent color closer to your natural until all of the damage is gone. Since hair grows only 1/2" per month, that means 1" every 2 months; do the math, this may take a year or more until all of the damage can be trimmed away.

no, you need to let your hair have a break. If you damaged it with a perm, then you need to find a remedy for the damage. Talk to the person who does your hair and have them recommend a treatment.
