we are both in fashion design but I've never asked his sexual orientation so what's going on-and how do I know if he's into me?

he doesnt want u to think hes gay.. maybe the way he acts makes 'other' people think he is gay? and this effects him so he tells people he isnt incase they believe the same.
i know a guy who isnt gay but the way he acts is quite feminine, so then people start asking him is he gay and things like that.
so maybe its his way of letting you know that he is approachable and maybe doesnt want his soft behaviour to push u away.
i think the answer is there.. hes into you because he wants to let you know that he is straight.
Either that or he thinks that u may think he is gay.
Person above may be corect, since this is a fashion course he may not want people on the course thinking he is gay e.g he is making a dress or something girly in clothing. And especially if hes like one of the only guys on the course hes surrounded by girls and doesnt want them to think he is gay. Its just his ambition to do fashion.
Talk to him more alone and see what happens, go out together or something and see how he acts around you. gd luck!

hi, i think he just wanted to clarify that he is not gay cuz it's quite a normal thing for individuals who are involved in fashion (design/modeling) to be gay. and most people presume them to be as well.
i maybe putting 2 and 2 together but he might be trying to hint at something.... i.e. to let you know that he is NOT gay and thus if you are interested then let him know. that is a possibility but i dont know the truth of course.
seriously if you like him .... then just ask him if he does as well. i mean it's not the end of the world if he says no. there are plenty of men out there. dont waste your chance.... i never told the people who i fancied and i ended up losing out. all it takes is a little courage. good luck... and ignore the idiots !!1

i dont know how people thought you were a guy considering your name is lovely girl! Maybe he thinks you're just trying to get him to admit he's gay because he's taken a fasion design course but straight men can do that you closed minded people! just ask him out for a drink or something.

may be most men in trade are gay. he is just letting you know he is not. what context did he say he was not gay? did he just spurt it out. it sounds like you are doing enough flirting. or are you?
you know now that he is shagging material. so go for it Girl. let hair down and flirt. and see. if you don't have the patience ask him out. it's better that way at least you will know.

if indeed he is the one offering the "im not gay info" most likely he is and that is his way of hiding it.....you should look for someone else...maybe a military guy.....
