I cooked the turkey yesterday, and it is in the fridge now. There's a lot of it. How many more days can we safely eat the refrigerated food? Or would you suggest I just freeze it asap?

According to the cooking shows I watch (don't cook, just love to watch) a cooked turkey should spend no more than 4 days in the fridge. Keep out what you need and freeze the rest pronto.

Yum these are soo good! You might want to use low fat cheese if you're eating healthier. Turkey Meatball Subs 1 lb lean ground turkey 1/3 cup finely chopped onion 1 tsp italian seasoning 1 clove minced garlic 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 1 tsp each salt and pepper 1-2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 jar marinara sauce sub rolls provolone or mozzarella cheese- 3/4 cup per sub Mix meatball ingredients in a bowl until just combined. Heat a skillet over medium heat with about 1-2 Tbsp olive oil. Form the turkey mixture into balls and place in the skillet. Turn the meatballs every couple minutes to brown on all sides. (Meatballs can also be baked on a broiler pan until browned.) Drain extra fat, place meatballs on paper towel to soak up fat. Place back in skillet. Add marinara sauce to the pan, cover and let simmer over low heat about 15 minutes to ensure the meatballs are completely cooked. Place 4 meatballs on each sub roll that has been sliced lengthwise and spoon the marinara sauce over the meatballs. Top with cheese and place under the broiler for a couple minutes to toast the bread and melt the cheese. Serve with a big green salad with lots of veggies and italian dressing.

no more than 1 week if that, because it will go bad
you may want to freeze it because its already cooked .. but it kind of ruins the meat after it has been frozen
better option is to have leftovers each day ..

Freeze it immediately!

Only keep out what you will use in the next 3 days.

I have a 4 day rule. If you're not going to use it before then I'd freeze it.

its best if you freeze it. it will last longer. you just take out what you can eat and put it in the fridge what you can eat a few hours before you plan on eating it. that way its frozen and it lasts a lot longer and you can still manage to eat it as if it were just from the refrigirator.
