Stop, don't think like that! You do NOT have a mental problem. Read my post in its entirety.
if you go to a doctor, the first thing they do is cram pills down your throat, and you don't want that. It will turn you into a zombie with thoughts of suicide. Most people who are like you is because you are very intelligent (as I am). That crap adhd is nothing but excuses. a lot of people are like that, embrace it, and be creative. EXCUSES bah! You are lucky, and I will explain.
Your mind is one of massive creative potential. Just because you don't concentrate on studies don't mean your handicapped, it means your mind is boiling over with thoughts and ideas. You can take that and make it very lucrative, and fun to you. This is the kind of thinking people wish they could have, but when they are faced by it from someone else, it scares them, because you are not afraid to come up with your own ideas. Welcome to the club of exclusivity that you can only be born into.
studies will also come to you, but be creative, Make it fun to learn!!
after all, I am a high school dropout who makes a hell of a lot more than most grads do, so I am possibly biased, but I surely would not be happy if I had done the "right" thing which lead me down the path I am on now.
Now is the time I have decided to get my GED, and I am 31. I am doing it just to have it, not for life altering, cause I am not going down.....
Attention to the thumbs down idiots.....If you have read my entire posting, you will see I said to try making studies fun, no where did I suggest dropping out. Also apparently you have failed to notice I said I have went back for my GED, so stick those thumbs where the sun don't shine.
I am a creative thinker, who hated school studies, mom is proud of who I am today! Screw being limited, my only limit is my mind, and I have an abundance.

Well what you need to do is focus on your studies the best you can or tell someone that can help you with them that you are finding it hard? They will be able to help surely, and even if you have the best talent at this fashion designing you still need some good grades, have you had a word with your doctor maybe he can help, just keep trying your hardest, hope you make a break through.

Fashion design is important to you but your studies is part of fashion design. How so? If you want to seriously get into fashion design you will need to get a college education. For instance, I would like to work has a probation officer for juviniles and I have some college behind me. I could possibly get that job right now, but a person with a higher college education is going to get it long before I will.
Do your studies and don't give up on fashion design. Keep your grades up and remember even if a class doesn't seem to have anything to do with fashion design in a sense it does. You need the classes to get your highschool diploma so you can go to college. When you begin college they will have you take classes that doesn't seem to pertain to what you want to do in life, but there required to get that degree.
Perhaps haveing a scedule for yourself will help. Set a time for studies and a time for you to work on your fashion design. Having a schedule has helped me quite a bit. My problem wasn't having problems focosing. I would pick one thing and focus on that alone and by doing this my other grades started to drop.
You may want to put a little more time in your studies that your in trouble with so you can bring your grade up.

I used to be a little like that myself....so I can understand what you mean...but you will be surprised at how much you will need all the other stuff your learning at school now when you become a fashion designer. It's wonderful that you have made your career choice now and I think you should remain focused if that's what you're striving for....but to be the best in your field, you will need your spelling, grammar, speech, maths and even science skills to be equally good....I'd imagine there would be a lot of competition in this area, and you don't want to be left behind!!!
Good Luck!!

It sounds as if you are having some difficulties/stress in your emotional, mental, and/or social life areas. Or you may have undiagnosed Adult Attention Deficit (ADD) disorder which usually begins to show its symptoms around the ages of 3 and 5. I don't know how old you are; but if you had these same types of issues at a younger age, you might want to go to a therapist or even your regular (family practice or general practice) physician for an evaluation.

You must continue your studies! Because later you can regret that you leave them. Actually you should sleep and eat well then i think you can focus to things that you are doing. And of course you need to focus on you talents too :)

My husband has a very similar story to yours. He is very creative and has lots of talents outside of school, too. Fortunately, his father (a professor) got him diagnosed early with ADHD and got him on some drugs that worked well.
He is now a 4-year college graduate and is able to do the creative work he loves for a living.
Whatever you do, don't listen to anyone who calls you dumb. You are not dumb; you just learn differently.
Best regards,

You need to pay attentio to your studies. That's important no matter what career you want. You can't do anything these days without a good education. Unless you wanna work at a fast food place.

hehe i feel exactly the same!! well i think that you shouldnt let ur grades suffer but u shouldnt worry about them too much. since you know what u wanna do when u grow up anyway. but remember that if u fail in ur studies, u might not reach u goal. coz although grades arent everything, its still something important. just dont let your grades slip. u dont need to be valedictorian or something.
