In three weeks I am going to go see Phantom of the Opera on broadway and the girl I am taking is showing little to no excitement. Mind you, I have been void of a girl for the last six years because of where I currently live.

Consider asking her where she would like to go for a date. What's more important, being with the girl you like or going to see the Phantom of the Opera?

You already asked her and most likely you already bought the tickets. It's not cool to take back an invitation. Maybe she hasn't been to the opera before - she might enjoy it. Go and have fun!
