In a previous question I ask if Chemo was a waste of time. I should not use the frase "waste of time" I am sure people enjoy to have their love's ones more time with them. So I ask the question in another way.

First of all I am not sure if YOU are the one going through the chemo or if it is someone in your family.
However, bottom line is this::::: It is totally up to you as a person to try and ACCEPT the situation for what it is and try to deal with it on a POSITIVE note on a daily basis. That is extremely difficult some days, I know. You have to try to put the person going through the chemo first. Their feelings and their needs. All that you can do if it is another person, besides yourself, that is going through this is to be there for that person always. I don't mean to be there in a physical sense, I am sure that is almost impossible, but you can reassure this person that you are there for them emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Now, if this person is you, then look into some kind of support group that you can hook up with to help you. Sometimes it is so difficult for the people you love to be supportive and all you get is negative feedback. You need positive in life right now. Hey, a support group wouldn't be a bad idea for you even if you aren't the patient.
I don't know if you believe in a higher power of ANY kind or not, but touching base with this higher power can be helpful too.
Hope everything turns out to be okay for you.
Take it a day at a time. Try not to get frustrated. Be patient with the situation and the person. Have empathy, not sympathy. Continue being supportive as you are doing.

Some people put their lives in Gods hands, but you can have a quality life during Chemo.
