To the right, as others have said, positioned roughly above the napkin. I have seen this approximated in home table settings. I have never dined at the Bucket Residence (Keeping up Appearances).

Wine glass to the right, side plate to the left. Many people use the side plate to their right and end up eating your bread roll...

I answer this out of common sense and not because of what's written on the book. Place the wine glass on the right. Think of the empty space on the left which will allow you more movement while dining.

The wine glass should be to the right (it contains the drink) as should the knife and spoon.
The fork should be to the left.
The reason for the glass (that contains the drink) being on the right is that most people are right-handed.
Also, when you're eating dinner, you start from the outside and work in.

Also, where you have right-handed people and left-handed people, you should remember to place them to avoid accidental cutlery-jousting.

I was taught BMW for dining table etiquette. Looking at your plate, from left to right, Bread, Meal, Water/Wine.

Hope that helps you! :)
