Technically the ring isnt yours til you say I do. So giving it back is the right thing to do unless he says other wise. Doesnt matter if he is worth millions or not. Its the principle of the matter. Besides it will only remind you of him and you said it makes you feel like crap. so make yourself feel better and give it back to him. Then move on and go find the right man for you.

Good luck.

This will be a good year for you..just wait and see!

The correct thing to do is give it back to him. It is an engagement ring and why would you want to keep it if you are no longer engaged. It doesn't matter how much money he is worth, that's not the point.

I don't get what you're trying to say here, yoohooo~
And, i ASSUME you are asking us if you should return the ring or not. I say... yes, maybe no... well, I DON'T KNOW. Cos u see, I don't even get what trying to say. "the guy is worth million $$$. The ring makes me feel like crap...bla bla" what about the ring? I mean, you SUDDENLY mentioned ring? And maybe you can explain why you want to give him back? Like, because you two had a quarrel, or you realise he isn't the one for you... and you want to return him the ring... COME ON. more info pls.

And i dunno wad crap is dat"wow, if you really gotta ask then he's lucky you did dump him" what the heck is this all about?

If the engagement is off, the proper thing to do is return the ring. It is not a gift in the traditional sense, it was a symbol of the promise of betrothal made.

I am glad you can make light of some people's idiotic responses...I mean, you were strong enough to call off a wedding. Some people just "hide behind" their computer as an excuse to be rude and hurtful. I hope 2007 brings you happiness!

Rule of etiquette: if the woman breaks the engagement, she returns the ring. If the man does, she gets to keep the ring.

How much is the ring worth? If this dude is worth "millions" then he can take a small hit and you could pawn it and get some money and move on.

If you don't love him, give it back. If you do not see a future with him, give it back. Nice that he is worth money, but that doesn't matter.

Your previous question said the ring was worth $5,000.00. A millionnaire does not give such a cheap ring. He is fooling you somewhere.

What exactly is your question? I mean, I just replied to the one you were talking about but, what is THIS question about?

Glad you are giving it back.
