Indian fighter pilots are no different from any other pilots. There are communities with insist on covering the head, but in such cases, helmets are worn over it. Besides, in a fighter aircraft, the helmet also supports other functionalities like communications, oxygen supply and if available helmet mounted displays.

Yes. All the fighter pilots need to wear their helmet to protect their head. The helmet also provide oxygen for them to breath....

You are asking that because of the turban the Sikhs wear?Remember, not everybody in India is Sikh, and if they become pilots, probably there religion will allow them to skip that garment for the fly.
I really dont know, but I am sure there have to be a way around. And giant helmets does not seem to be one of those ways around.

NO, they wear Cowboy hats with an attached oxygen mask and spurs attached to the COM 1 ground line for better reception.

One or two fought for Great Britain and our (then) empire and certainly wore (leather) helmets then.

i am sure wvery one wears healmet when flyinga fighter plane. even if they ae seek they wear another kind of turben that kind of sticks to their head like the indean cricket spin bowler harbhajan singh wears.

yes they do, if they are seeks they can wear the helmit on top of the turben, but the why that the turbine is made is flatter
