My dermatologist recommended Clearasil Ultra when she found out I was buying Proactiv (it is basically the same ingredients and works just as well for a lot less money).
Additionally, eat healthy, drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day (this cleans out the impurities and makes a huge difference), exercise, get enough sleep and try to reduce stress as hormones can be a major cause of acne. If you are female remember breakouts can occur during your period due to this reason. Try to keep your hair off your face and clean especially if your hair is oily. Only wash your face twice a day, once in the morning and before bedtime (NEVER go to sleep without washing your face)... over washing can irritate your skin, cause an increase in oil production and acne.

Hi, Changing your diet probably do the trick for you. click the link below lots of good information there, and many good links for the best products and treatments.
A pimple, or acne as some people calls it, is a dreaded red, swollen bump in the face. Nobody is spared from having it. Male or female, American, Chinese or Puerto Rican, they all have gotten it at some points of their lives and may even still have it. It is like a universal language; it is like a right of passage in a person's life. Acne is a result of the hormones action on the skin's oil glands (the sebaceous gland) which leads to clogged pores and outbreak of lesions like pimples, blemishes or acne. Acne commonly occurs in the neck, face, back, shoulders and chest because the sebaceous glands are most abundant in these locations. But the important question we should be asking to be able to avoid this dreaded "disease" is, "What causes this pain in the neck called acne?"

soap leaves skin dry and you end up then putting on moisturiser and more products to try and aleviate the dryness caused by soap so id steer away from it. A gentle cleanser for sensitive skin is good and not over-rubbing when cleansing or when drying your face also helps. Tea tree oil is good for acne problems around the T-zone *forehead, nose, chin* and also if you use any cosmetics use non-comodogenic! :)

An antibacterial soap works, it will dry it out though, like Dial or Safeguard. Noxzema work but will make the problem worse before better because it will bring up deep dirt, but once you pass that its clear sailing.
