There's a nice little castle, I seem to remember. I've been out with two men from Skipton though, and they were both idiots...

Skipton is a nice little town north of Bradford and Leeds. It has a nice high street and a market. The surroundings offer excellent views of the Yorkshire Countryside. There are lots of little villages along the way.

Beautiful market town (Thursday market, I think).

Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

Castle, church, canal boats, lovely main street, nearby steam railway.

A castle and a preserved steam railway. Otherwise, not a lot different to anywhere else up there.
